Steps to back up your Windows system

1. To begin, install the AOMEI Cyber Backup Agent on your desired device and establish a connection with the AOMEI Cyber Backup Management Server.

2. Add Device: Navigate to Source Device >> Windows. If the device you wish to back up is not present, include a Windows device by selecting +Add Windows Device. Enter the relevant Device Information and User Information.

3. Create Backup Task: Click on Backup Task >> +Create New Task >> Disk Backup. Proceed to define backup specifics, including Task Name, Device Name, Backup Content, Target, and Schedule according to your requirements.

  • Task Name: Modify the task name or use the default name with an ordinal.
  • Device Name: For users of the free version, the option is available to back up either one Windows Server or three PC-based Windows systems.
  • Target: Choose between backing up to a new local storage or a new network storage. Previously used paths will be stored in Favorite Storage for convenient selection.
