Merge Partitions without Losing Data via Magic Partition Software

Merge partitions with Aomei Partition Assistant

Note: Boot partition or system partition can not be merged into a data partition for this will result in inability to boot the operating system. But, data partitions can be merged into boot or system partitions.

The Merge Partitions function enables us to consolidate the disk space originally belongs to two adjacent partitions, into a single, larger partition. The whole process can be handled smoothly and quickly without data loss. Please follow the tutorial below to merge partitions.

First of all, free download partition magic to enjoy

Step1: Launch and run Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition, right-click C Drive and select “Merge Partitions

Step2: In the pop-up window, select two adjacent partitions to merge. Here we select C Drive and G Drive to merge. In the pull-down list we could select the target partition to contain the selected two partitions.

Step3: Finally, click “Apply” on the left top of the toolbar to execute pending operations

 

Click Apply
